Four artists explore relations between the analogue and the digital, the organic and the synthetic, at The Bath House on May 29th.

Heith's music exists where organic and digital elements clash, merge, and transform, evoking both reminiscence and curiosity, the familiar and the alien. His latest album, Escape Lounge (PAN), is a lush, dreamlike work inspired by contemporary digital spirituality and post-informational folklore. The founder of Haunter Records, Heith has collaborated with Puce Mary, Visio, and Kareem Lotfy. On May 5th, Stroom will release Duori, a "5th world music" collaboration with Tarawangsawelas.

Elvin Brandhi + Emiddio Vasquez = METATERME, a project redefining the sacred in the tempo of the NOW. In their quasi-nomadic practise of creative displacement, they deterritorialise circuits of interference, intersections of influence, and cultural awareness. They make space for nightmares: conditions for the space to dream, unfreezing the limbs of resilience. At the 2024 Venice Biennale’s Cyprus Pavilion, with Poncili Creacion, they held an exorcism performance, exploring sensory extremes of the sauna. This inspired “curse reverse”: group healing through intimacy, empathy, and catharsis, attending to the extremes of the psyche.

Ansuman Biswas has an international practice encompassing music, film, live art, installation, writing and theatre. His music spans free improvisation, pop, jazz, and classical musics from around the world. Underpinning his work is the core discipline of Vipassana, which has informed his commitment to the primacy of listening, and the fluidity of identity.

From the Norwegian West coast, Karina Sletten’s DJ sets express her associations with other artists on the bill, showcasing pathways and interests that intertwine a plethora of genres and histories. Her work spans sound art, performance, installation, and relational public practices.
